Liberal leaders to meet in Brussels ahead of EU summit

ELDR prime ministers, ministers, commissioners and party leaders will gather together on Thursday 10th December 2009 for the traditional ELDR Leaders and Ministers meeting in advance of the European summit. The meeting will take place at the Conrad Hotel, Avenue Louise 71, 1050 Brussels, Belgium.

The main focus of the discussion will be the distribution of portfolios in the new European Commission. Other topics on the agenda will be the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen and the state of the negotiations for a new global agreement; and the economic and financial situation in the EU.

The participants will arrive from 11:30 and there will be a family photo at 13:00. The closed meeting for prime ministers, liberal party leaders, commissioners and ministers will finish at 14:30 and will be followed immediately by a press conference between 14:30 – 15:00.

This event will take place at the Conrad Hotel, Avenue Louise 71, 1050 Brussels, Belgium.
