The conference will explore a number of themes including how Sweden has achieved a relatively high level of female participation in politics; how women in power are viewed; and how women can be strong, sure and visible. Speakers include, among others, Birgitta Ohlsson, President of Liberal Women; Drude Dahlerup, Professor of Political Science at the University of Stockholm; and Berit Ås, Norway's first female party leader.
