Former liberal Prime Minister becoming head of NATO

Anders Fogh Rasmussen having been Prime Minister of Denmark from 2001-2009 is officially assuming his function as Secretary General of NATO on 1 August. Looking back at years of intensive cooperation determined by mutual trust with the then Prime Minister, ELDR Party President Annemie Neyts and European Liberal Democrats wholeheartedly congratulate their fellow liberal Anders Fogh Rasmussen on this appointment.
