Paternalistic socialists discredit successful liberal policies

In yet another proof of the socialists' reflex to control other people's lives European socialists' president Poul Nyrup Rasmussen made an unprecedented move in lecturing the successful liberal government of Estonia by suggesting them to waste more tax payers' money and trying to prevent Estonia to join the Eurozone. Finland is a fore-runner

The president of European socialists (PES) Poul Nyrup Rasmussen participates in his Finnish sister party's European election campaign by claiming that my Cabinet does not do enough to fight the recession and increasing unemployment. Rasmussen says that my government just copies ineffective policies from elsewhere and Mrs. Jutta Urpilainen and SDP represent Finland "at its unique best". Read more ...
