Council in Brussels, Belgium on 16 April 2009

The ELDR Council Meeting that took place on 16 April 2009 (Brussels, Belgium) welcomed Fianna Fàil as a new ELDR member party.

The number of parties belonging to the European liberal family has risen to 58 with the inclusion of two new observermembers: Spanish Centro Democratico Liberal (CDL) and Slovakian Free Forum.
