Annemie Neyts discusses Norway’s European policy

 Annemie Neyts, ELDR Party President visited Norway on 7 and 8 May to discuss the prospects of Norway’s accession to the EU with Venstre, ELDR Norwegian member party. She will meet the party leadership (President Lars Sponheim and Vice-Presidents Olaf Thommessen and Trine Skei Grande), the central board of the party, Anne Margrete Larsen (MP, foreign affairs committee) and Øyvind Eggen (leader of Venstre's international committee) and NUV, the liberal youth organisation. Venstre joined the European Liberal Democrat political family in October 2000. It got 5.9 % of the vote at the last general elections and currently holds ten out of 169 seats in the parliament.
