ELDR Council-13th April 2007-Croatia

 The 53rd ELDR Council Meeting will take place on the 13th April 2007 in Zagreb, Croatia in The Regent Esplanade Hotel from 14.00 to 17.00. The programme continues on Saturday 14th April when representatives of liberal political parties from Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia, among others, will discuss the issue of EU integration of South East-Europe. Guest speakers at this Roundtable debate include Romanian Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu, who will present the experience of EU Integration of one of the newest EU member states, Romania. Council delegates are invited to participate.

Zagreb is an old Central European city. It is located on the intersection of several important routes beetween the Adriatic coast and Central Europe.
Zagreb offers its guests the Baroque feel of the Upper town, picturesque open-air markets, various kinds of shops and delicious local cuisine.

The Council meeting and the Conference on Saturday 14th April will take place in the Regent Esplanade Zagreb is one of the most famous and elegant buildings in Zagreb. Originally built to service passengers arriving on the Orient Express, the hotel is world-renowned for its impeccable service and legendary hospitality standards. The Esplanade has played host to various celebrities who left their mark on the 20th century.
