On 1st March, Annemie Neyts gave the closing speech at LYMEC’s Conference “No visas for tourist and students – Europe is our home” which took place in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium from 28 February to 2 March 2007. ELDR Party Treasurer Bas Eenhoorn visited Athens, Greece, on 22nd February to attend a press conference announcing the formation of a new Greek liberal party, the Liberal Alliance. The party was formally established on 22nd February following the notice of its creation with the Greek High Court. The Liberal Alliance will hold their first congress on 28th April. Read more ...
