ELDR Policies on Freedom and Security

eldr, Sunday 1 October 2006 10:00 ::

 ELDR is pleased to provide you with a new booklet on the policy proposals of ELDR in the field of freedom and security.

We are living in a world in which the balance between freedom and security increasingly takes centre-stage. That is why Annemie Neyts, ELDR party President, proposed the theme of “Working Together for a Free and Secure Europe” for the Party 2006 Annual Congress.

ELDR adopted resolutions on the internal and external security of the EU, in which the state of play and the perspectives in both areas are sketched. We hope that this booklet will acquaint you with the current ELDR thinking on European security and that it will provide you with useful information for your political work.
