Whereas we are all under the threat of terrorism, and our common answer to it must correspond with the challenge we face and with the demands of our citizens. The ELDR Party congress, - Condemns in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attacks around the world that the Islamic fundamentalist terrorist have produced, and recognises the attacks being targeted against the whole of mankind and humanity. - Expresses that terrorists must know that they will never prevail. - Calls to make sure that we fight terror without ever leaving aside the basic principles that characterize the very civilisation that some are trying to destroy, based in the rule of law and the permanent respect for civil liberties and fundamental rights. |
