Council in Mainz, Germany on 05 March 2001 (16/03/2001)

The meeting discusses the liberal economic agenda and the Treaty of Nice. Furthermore, the Council approved the application for full membership from the Liberal Party of Greece and the request for affiliate membership for the Liberal Party of Macedonia. The Council had also a first discussion on the membership application from New Democracy of Serbia.
