ELDR Congress in Palermo, Italy (25/07/2011)

The 2011 ELDR Party Congress took place from Wednesday 23 to Friday 25 November in Palermo, Italy upon the invitation of Italia dei Valori.

Elections

At the ELDR 2011 Congress in Palermo, Sir Graham Watson MEP was elected President of the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party on a two-year mandate. The ELDR Party also elected five Vice Presidents. While Marc Guerrero (CDC, Catalonia), Lousewies van der Laan (D 66, The Netherlands) and Leoluca Orlando (IDV, Italy) were re-elected for another term; Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (FDP, Germany) and Astrid Thors (SFP, Finland) are new additions to the ELDR party Bureau.
