CONGRESS IN STOCKHOLM 30-31 OCTOBER 2008 (20/10/2008)

HotelELDR has organised its annual Congress 2008 on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October 2008 in beautiful Stockholm, Sweden at the Clarion Sign Hotel

Centerpartiet and Folkpartiet, our Swedish member parties, were our kind hosts.

With the participation of key liberal leaders and hundreds of liberal politicians from all over Europe, the 2008 Congress was an important event as we adopted the electoral Manifesto for the 2009 European elections. The discussions focused on the liberal answers to the major challenges Europe faces today in the field of the environment and energy, of civil liberties, of immigration, of the single market and of Europe’s foreign and security policy.
