Cross border health care - a victory for Europeans

As the ALDE spokesman on the cross border health care report, and therefore one of the three or four MEPs who crafted the compromises, I consider yesterday’s adoption of the report by the European parliament a victory for all Europeans who are suffering from rare diseases and other serious illnesses. They will be able to receive medical care abroad without having to worry about costs, safety and quality.
