ok, why i’m liberal? Firstly - because i believe that there is no development without freedom. That’s the most important thing in the liberalism. I believe that people should be free not only because it’s effective in economy etc., , but mainly because it’s fair. Secondly - I’m against welfare state, etatism, and bureaucracy. We don’t need social benefits - what we really need is economic freedom, low taxes and less influence of state in our own life.
Thirdly : the freedom of speech and freedom of thought are sacred and political corectness mustn’t be a justification of restriction our freedom of speech.
Liberalism FTW!

I´m Liberal because I believe, like Sartre said “We are condemned to be free”. I dont believe that the State can make de decisions for me and my fellow citizens. I believe that we have the future on our hands. I know that it´s much more easier to pay tax money for short term sucess, but we put next genaration on great dificulties. I believe that as long we still have a State so big like the Portuguese one, the corruption is as big as they can get.
We need a Liberal Party in Portugal.
